Patrick Minton

Patrick Minton has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and development. Patrick began their career in 1998 as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon.com, where they developed applications in C++ and Perl, often integrating with Oracle and MySQL databases. In 2005, they moved to Microsoft as a Programmer/Writer. In 2007, they joined EVRI, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Patrick then moved to LexBlog, Inc. in 2008 as IT Director, leading the software development, deployment systems, and system administration. In 2009, they became a Self Employed Software Consultant, specializing in Web 2.0 technologies and database integration. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Splat Interactive (formerly L4 Systems). Patrick then joined Xevo Inc. as a Software Engineering Manager and Software Development Engineer & Manager. In 2017, they moved to RealSelf as a Software Development Manager, managing multiple sprint teams of full-stack developers. In 2019, they joined Rover.com as an Engineering Manager II. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering, Growth and Sr. Engineering Manager, Product at Curology.

Patrick Minton has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, which they obtained between 1989 and 1992. Patrick also holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Technology Management from the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business, which they received between 2006 and 2008.
