Amy Semmel

Amy Semmel is a Professional Development Specialist at Curriculum Associates since October 2016 and has served as an Educational Consultant at Discovery Education since June 2013. Amy has a strong background in education, having worked in various teaching roles, including Kindergarten and First Grade Teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools from August 2009 to June 2013 and as a long-term substitute for Second Grade at Garrett Park Elementary School in early 2009. Amy's expertise includes training teachers in technology integration, differentiated instruction, and student-centered learning environments. Amy holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from California State University, Chico, and a multiple subject credential in early childhood education from Notre Dame de Namur University.
