Melissa Barber

Melissa (Savage) Barber is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Territory Manager for Partner Success at Curriculum Associates since June 2020, where responsibilities include supporting educators and developing strategies for territory growth. Previously, Melissa was an Instructional Coach at Chelsea Public Schools, providing feedback and leading professional development initiatives. Melissa has a robust background in school administration, having served as the Middle School Principal at KIPP Massachusetts, overseeing all aspects of a school with 488 students. Earlier roles within KIPP included Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, Science Department Chair, and Science Teacher, where Melissa demonstrated significant impact on student achievement and curriculum development. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
