Robbie Whittome

Robbie Whittome serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Head of Digital Identity at Curtin University, leading cyber security and digital identity initiatives since September 2015. Whittome has progressively advanced through various roles at Curtin, including Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Manager of Information Security Services, focusing on developing and executing security programs, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with governance standards. Prior experience includes roles with the WA Police, where responsibilities encompassed quality assurance for application support and operational management of security services. Robbie holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Western Australia, with majors in Information Systems, Entertainment Technologies, Economics, and Marketing.
