Quenton Olson has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Quenton began their career as a Senior Project Engineer at Kavlico Corporation in 1989. Quenton then served as the Operations Engineering Manager at Kavlico from 1992 to 1995, where they were responsible for manufacturing Aerospace LVDT and RVDT Transducers. Olson then worked as the Chief Engineer at Lebow Aerospace, managing all engineering activities related to Aerospace OEM strain gauge load, force, and torque transducers. In 2005, they transitioned to Kavlico as the Business Development Manager, where they focused on finding new business opportunities and expanding the company's footprint. Olson also held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Aero Sense, a high accuracy aerospace transducer company, from 2007 to 2015, where they handled various roles in engineering, sales, business development, operations, and quality. Quenton then joined Woodward, Inc. as the Senior Engineering Manager, leading the Mechanical Engineering Group for Actuation and Controls in creating and maintaining design standards for hydraulic and electro-mechanical control products. Quenton'snext role was as the Director of Engineering at PCX Aerosystems, a leading manufacturer of flight critical systems, assemblies, and components for aerospace applications, specializing in landing gear production. Most recently, Olson has been serving as the Vice President of Engineering at RTC Aerospace since 2022, leading a highly-capable team of engineers into new challenges and opportunities. Quenton is currently the Director of Engineering at Curtiss-Wright Corporation, starting in 2023. Overall, Olson's work experience includes leadership positions, a wide range of engineering responsibilities, and a focus on aerospace systems and components.
