Eleanor Deacon

Eleanor Deacon is a skilled stage and automation technician currently employed at Curve Theatre since October 2021, responsible for operating stage automation during live performances and maintaining equipment. Previously, Eleanor served as a casual stage and lighting technician, collaborating with various touring companies and in-house productions. Prior experience includes a role as buildings and productions assistant at the International Arts Centre, where responsibilities encompassed assisting with theatre productions, auditing props, and organizing rentals. Additionally, Eleanor has worked as a window dresser and prop maker for Harvey Nichols and served as a stage technician at the Lighthouse Theatre Kettering. Eleanor holds a degree in Theatre Practice with a focus on prop making from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
