Liyarui Wang

Liyarui Wang has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various industries such as education, consulting, student associations, and lifeguarding. They currently work as a Residence Advisor at The University of British Columbia and as a Client Services Assistant at Staples & Company Employee Benefits Consultants Inc. Liyarui has also held positions as a Vice President External Affairs at UBC Chinese Students' Association, VP Operations at PennyDrops, and Financial Analyst Lead at the Commerce Undergraduate Society of UBC Vancouver. Additionally, they have worked as a Lifeguard at the City of Port Coquitlam, City of Vancouver, and City of Coquitlam. They gained experience in the retail industry as a Seasonal E-Commerce Fraud Analyst at Aritzia and as a Bookkeeper and Server at Marble Slab Creamery Canada.

Liyarui Wang attended Port Moody Secondary School and obtained an IB Diploma. Currently, they are pursuing a degree at UBC Sauder School of Business, with the expected graduation year in 2023. In addition, they have certifications in Fundamentals of Income Tax Level 1 from H&R Block and Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the Canadian Red Cross.
