Medard Onobaiso

Medard Onobaiso is an experienced health professional currently serving as a Health Officer at UNICEF since April 2019 and as a Program Manager at Cuso International since November 2014. With a robust background in public health, Medard has previously held various leadership roles, including medical director and chief medical officer within the Division Provinciale de la Santé from November 2002 to October 2014. Medard also contributed as a Deputy Mission Leader at CIMA+ International and as a Consultant and Focal Point at ONUSIDA, focusing on the coordination of HIV/AIDS response initiatives. Education includes ongoing advanced studies at Ecole de Santé Publique de Lubumbashi and a medical degree from Université de Kisangani.
