Edgar López

Edgar López is a sales engineer at Custom Surgical. Edgar previously worked as a project estimator at AMPOL American Pollution Control, Corp. from May 2016 to August 2018. In this role, they were responsible for understanding and interpreting contract documents and drawings, performing take offs of both civil and mechanical drawings, and preparing bids and estimates for private and public sector, lump sum, T & M and cost plus projects. López has also worked as a sports information assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Department of Athletics from August 2016 to December 2016, where they were a color commentator for the Ragin Cajuns Women’s Soccer Team and the commentator spotter/statistics runner for the Ragin Cajuns Football Team. In addition, they also coached tennis +5 hrs/week at City Club. López’s skills include excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines, and the ability to understand overall scope and consistently work with a team to review project details.

Edgar López has a Master of Science from the Technical University of Munich in Sustainable Resource Management and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Industrial Technology College of Engineering. Edgar also has certifications from AMPOL American Pollution Control, Corp. in Forklift and Hazardous Materials Technician (LEAD,NORM,MOLD) and from SC&A, Inc. in Radiation Safety Officer.
