Dennis Tran

Dennis Tran has been working in the video production and editing industry since 2012. Dennis began their career as a Production Assistant at Rikognition, followed by an internship as a Web Series Editor Intern at Cinesaurus in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Video Production Assistant at the University of Washington School of Nursing, where they produced and filmed educational videos for 10+ clients across University of Washington medical schools. In 2015, they worked as a Video Content Editor at Notework, where they edited short videos featured in The Stranger blog article about Seattle Central District “Africatown.” From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Instructional Media Specialist at the University of Washington Continuum College, where they managed post-production of several courses created for online edX and Coursera certificate programs. In 2017, they worked as a Film Content Producer/Program Developer at foundry10. In 2019, they worked as a Production Assistant for the Paper Tigers Movie at Persistence of Vision Films. Currently, they are working as a Freelance Video Editor/Videographer at Transcode Video, and will be joining Cut.com as a Video Editor in 2022.

Dennis Tran attended the University of Washington from 2010 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
