Wytze van der Veer

Wytze van der Veer currently serves as Group Leader at EUV Development & Engineering at ASML, overseeing the BMC function within the soft x-ray source technology that facilitates high-resolution imaging. With a long-standing role at Cutera, Inc. since February 2013, Wytze has held various positions, including VP of Product Development and VP of Advanced R&D, leading successful programs for medical laser applications. Prior to this, Wytze worked as Senior Director of Laser Engineering at Cutera, spearheading the development of core laser technologies. Wytze's academic career includes serving as Director of Laser Spectroscopy Labs at the University of California, Irvine, where contributions were made to optical and laser systems for spectroscopy, and conducting industrial research on high-power tunable laser systems at URENCO Group. Wytze holds both a PhD and MSc in Physics & Astronomy from the University of Amsterdam.
