Matias Boix has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Matias currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Technology at Globant since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Technology Partner from April 2020 to July 2022 and as VP of Technology - Data & Analytics Studio from March 2016 to April 2020 at the same company. Before joining Globant, Matias worked as a Technical Director from December 2012 to March 2016 and as a Technical Leader from February 2011 to December 2012 at various roles in the company.
In addition to their roles at Globant, Matias also served as a Board Member at Cuti - Chamber of Uruguayan IT Companies starting from June 2020. Matias later took on the position of VP People Talent Work Commission in March 2021.
Before their time at Cuti, Matias worked as the Head of Software Development at Multi Ahorro from December 2009 to February 2011.
Matias also gained experience as a Project Leader at Arkano Software from December 2006 to January 2010.
Additionally, Matias started their career as a Professorship Assistant at Universidad ORT Uruguay, where they worked from August 2006 to March 2007 and from August 2006 to December 2006 in two separate positions.
Matias Boix completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay, from the years 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de la República, from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, Matias Boix graduated from Colegio y Liceo Alemán, from 1986 to 1999, although the field of study for this education period is not specified.
