Fabienne Hartmann-Fritsch

Fabienne Hartmann-Fritsch's work experience includes serving as the Co-Founder of CUTISS AG since March 2017. Prior to that, they were a Project Co-Leader and Clinical Trial Manager at Wyss Zurich from October 2016 to February 2022. From April 2013 to September 2016, they worked as the Head of GMP Production, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Trial Management at the University of Zurich.

Fabienne Hartmann-Fritsch completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology at ETH Zürich from 2002 to 2006. Fabienne then pursued a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology, also at ETH Zürich, from 2006 to 2008. Following their master's degree, they joined the University of Zurich, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology from 2008 to 2013. In 2015 and 2016, Fabienne pursued a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Clinical Trial Management at the University of Zurich. Most recently, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2022 to complete an Executive Leadership Development program.

CUTISS AG can now bio-engineer large quantities of individually customized human skin grafts, denovoSkin™, starting off from a very small piece of healthy patient’s skin. Because of its intrinsic characteristics, denovoSkin™ is expected to result in a minimally scarring outcome after transplantation. denovoSkin™ received a Swissmedic, EMA and FDAOrphan drug designation for the treatment of burns.
