Paul Herdeg

Paul Herdeg has over three decades of experience in economic and community development, currently serving as the Director of Development for Cuyahoga County since November 1994. In this role, Paul collaborates with public and private sector partners to implement economic development strategies aimed at enhancing job and business opportunities for residents. Previous positions within Cuyahoga County include Deputy Chief Economic Development Officer and Director of Strategic Planning and Analytics, focusing on strategic planning and performance measurement. Additionally, Paul served as Development Administrator and Housing Manager, where planning and implementation of housing strategies were emphasized. Earlier in Paul’s career, Paul was the Executive Director of Union-Miles Development Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio. Paul holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University College of Law, earned between 1982 and 1985.
