Ladan Nowrasteh

Ladan Nowrasteh is an experienced communications and development professional currently serving as the Director of Grants and Development Communications at Philanthropy Roundtable since August 2025. Prior to this role, Ladan held various positions at State Policy Network from February 2019 to August 2025, including Senior Director of Communications and Senior Director of Development Communications, where responsibilities encompassed strategic communications, content strategy, and fundraising initiatives. Ladan also served as the Director of Marketing at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University from February 2012 to January 2019, focusing on digital and traditional marketing strategies. Early career experience includes roles as Online Communications Assistant at the American Enterprise Institute, Reporter at Hearst, Communications and News Fellow at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, and various internships in journalism and communications. Ladan holds a MA in Journalism from American University and a BA in English Writing from DePauw University.
