Haren received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and English from John Carroll University. She participated in both the Cleveland Leadership Center’s Bridge Builders Program Class of 2016 and the Civic Leadership Institute of which she serves on their advisory board, as well as Cleveland State University’s Leadership Academy Cohort XXI, and is also a member of their advisory board. Haren enjoys mentoring eighth-grade Cleveland Metropolitan School District students in the True2U Program, providing books to CMHA residents through CMHA’s partnership with the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank, and being actively involved with her local parish and community.
