Juan A. Rehnfeldt Duhalde

Juan A. Rehnfeldt Duhalde has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Juan A. started their career as a Project Engineer and Project Manager at Aaktei Energia SpA, where they were involved in the development of small hydro power plants. Juan A. managed contractors, reviewed technical documentation, and conducted financial analysis.

Juan A. then worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia University, where they contributed to the development of novel approaches to understand and characterize combustion processes.

Following that, Juan joined the Ministry of Energy as a Project Management Engineer, where they monitored and streamlined investment projects in the energy sector. Juan A. also reviewed and evaluated initiatives related to public policies and regulatory changes.

Later, they worked as an Energy Projects Consultant, providing expertise in identifying and assessing environmental and sectorial permits for different projects. Juan A. also offered project site recommendations for both large-scale utilities and small PMGD projects.

Juan A.'snext role was as the Head of Business Development at CVE (Changing Visions of Energy), where they managed a portfolio of photovoltaic PMGD projects and led a team of high-level professionals. Juan A. spearheaded the expansion strategy of the company into Utility Scale projects and green Hydrogen technologies.

Currently, Juan serves as the Director of Development, Engineering & NS at CVE, responsible for the development of the company's strategy. Juan A. oversees a team of professionals and leads various projects in Chile, including those related to Green Hydrogen.

Juan A. Rehnfeldt Duhalde holds a Master's Degree in Energy Concentration in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University (2014-2015). Juan A. also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Ingeniería Química and a Bachelor's Degree in Ingeniería Industrial from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2003-2010). In terms of additional certifications, they earned the LEED Green Associate certification from GBCI in March 2016. Juan A. Rehnfeldt Duhalde has also completed a Diploma in Applied Machine Learning from Emeritus in 2019 and a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence from Emeritus in 2021.
