Jason Bennett currently serves as the Assistant Principal for Charlottesville City Schools since July 2023. Previously, Jason held the positions of Dean of Students and Department Chair for Exceptional Education at Charlottesville High School from August 2016 to July 2023. Jason's experience also includes working as a Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle, along with roles as a Special Education Teacher and various teaching and coordinator positions in after-school programs. Jason began a long-term substitute teaching position focused on special education at University High School. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Special Education and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from West Virginia University, with ongoing studies at Longwood University.
