Matt Verbin

Chief Financial Officer at CVO Holding Company

Matt Verbin has 20 years of experience in both the public and private sector, overseeing functions such as Finance, Operations, IT, Legal, HR and Business Intelligence.

He first spent six years in Big Four Accounting, focusing on external and internal audit, forensic accounting and commercial litigation. Here, he worked on a number of rewarding engagements, ranging from providing assistance in distributing billions of dollars to those most affected by 9‑11 to investigating multi-billion-dollar white collar business crimes.

Matt has since worked in software, transportation, manufacturing and retail, with a decade at the CFO level. He has had financial responsibility of just under $700M annual revenue with thousands of global employees and helped achieve M&A transactions and VC/PE financing. In his current role, Matt worked on CVO’s post-acquisition transition and led the stand-up of multiple functions. He now oversees all financial aspects of the company.

Matt holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Arizona in Accounting and Finance. He also possesses an MBA from Arizona State University and is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Outside of the office, Matt has spent time throughout his career in other business endeavors such as running the largest non-surgical obesity help website in the world for nine years, mentoring former college athletes, being a part of numerous professional organizations and sitting on advisory boards.
