Hein Willems

Hein Willems has a strong background in information technology and management, spanning over two decades. Hein has held various leadership positions in multiple companies, including CVR Energy, Inc., Sadara Chemical Company, DSM, and BSO/Origin.

Most recently, they served as the Director of IT Operations at CVR Energy, Inc., where they led a team in managing IT infrastructure, operations, client services, cloud services, and document management. Hein provided design direction and strategies based on their extensive knowledge and experience in the infrastructure and networking field.

Prior to that, they held senior management roles at Sadara Chemical Company, overseeing IT business support and infrastructure services. Hein also served as the Director of Business Information Management and Process Management at DSM, where they were responsible for global IT service delivery and business information management at different divisions within the company.

Before joining DSM, Hein worked as a Consultant and Project Manager at BSO/Origin, specializing in SAP Finance and Controlling.

Throughout their career, Hein has demonstrated their expertise in IT management, infrastructure services, project management, and business information management.

Hein Willems has a diverse educational background in business and IT. Hein attended Nyenrode Business University from 2012 to 2016, where they studied Business & IT. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Radboud University from 2001 to 2003. Hein also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Hein Willems has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In June 2020, they became TOGAF 9 Certified Enterprise Architect (Foundation & Practitioner) through The Open Group. Hein also obtained the ITIL V4 Foundation in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in September 2019. In July 2008, they earned the ITIL V3 Foundation in IT Service Management from the examination institute for information science. Lastly, in May 1996, they completed Project Team Management Training, Project Management for project/team managers, and Project management from ISES International.
