Michael Sommer

Michael Sommer, MBA, serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Enterprise Digital, and Data & Analytics at CVS Health since July 2018, having previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer for Aetna Analytics. Before their tenure at CVS, Michael was with Aetna from March 2014 to July 2018 as Sr. Director of Aetna Digital and Sr. Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, where Michael led Planning, Forecasting, and Results Reporting functions. Earlier positions include Financial Advisor at on2sky, LLC, managing financial matters related to cloud-based communications, and various senior financial roles at American Express from 2000 to 2013, including Vice President of Global Real Estate Finance and Vice President of Technology Finance, responsible for managing large portfolios and driving efficiencies. Michael holds an MBA in Business/Finance from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rider University.
