Miriam E. Ferreira

Miriam E. Ferreira is a seasoned executive in the healthcare sector with extensive experience in operational leadership and transformation. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at CVS Accountable Care since April 2022, Miriam oversees critical teams focused on practice transformation, clinical documentation, analytics, and technology, all aimed at enhancing health outcomes. Prior to this, Miriam held various leadership roles at Aetna, including VP of Technology & Operations and VP of Entrepreneurship & Execution, leading a clinical transformation team supporting numerous accountable care organizations. Additionally, Miriam has held C-level and managerial positions at ACTIVE Health Management, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Montefiore Health System, IBM, Perot Systems, and MEDITECH. Miriam holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University and a Master's Degree in Business Education from New York University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Bryant University.
