Nasir Qureshi

Nasir Qureshi has had a diverse range of work experiences over the years. Nasir most recently worked as the Director of IT at CWIBenefits, LLC, where they were responsible for managing technology and collaborating with insurance companies. Prior to that, they were the Database Team Lead at Kayser-Roth Corporation, where they re-architected the information infrastructure. Nasir also held the position of Database Team Lead at Hanesbrands Inc., where they implemented SLAs and managed a team. Nasir began their career as a Database Administration Specialist at Fidelity National Information Services, helping the company expand its operations. Nasir also has experience in real estate as a Realtor in Training at Chandler RETC. Nasir has a background in managing databases and systems, having served as the DBA Manager at Maricopa Community Colleges and a Senior DBA at US Foods. Nasir has also been involved in leadership roles, including serving as an Area Gov. at Toastmasters International. Nasir has worked as a Consultant at TEKsystems and Yates Petroleum Corp as well. Nasir Qureshi has a diverse education history spanning several decades. Nasir began their education at Junior Model School in Islamabad, completing 5th grade in 1978. Nasir then attended Sir Syed Public School for nursery school in 1973. In 1979, Nasir attended Islamabad College for Boys, where they completed their secondary school education with a focus on science.

Continuing their education, Nasir enrolled at Government College in Asghar Mall, Rawalpindi from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained an FSc. degree in Pre-Medical. Nasir then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics, Statistics, and Persian from Government College in Asghar Mall, Rawalpindi, graduating in 1990. Following this, Nasir completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English from Gordon College, Rawalpindi in 1992.

Taking their education further, Nasir obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from International Islamic University, Islamabad in 1994.

In 2002, Nasir began their professional education, starting with various certifications in applications, databases, and management. Nasir also earned a degree in Solaris Administration from Sun Microsystems, completing it in 2015.

From 2002 to 2019, Nasir studied at Oracle University, obtaining multiple degrees and certifications. Nasir completed a degree in Database & Optimization Engineering with a focus on Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration. Nasir also obtained certifications in various Oracle technologies such as Hyperion Administration, PeopleSoft/PeopleTools Administration, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Additionally, Nasir acquired certifications from Hewlett Packard, including Neo-View Administrator in 2009. Nasir also attended several training programs in project management essentials, project planning, scheduling, and leadership.
