Jens Hennig

Jens Hennig has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Jens currently holds the position of Director Power Generation and Distribution at CWP Global, where they lead a team in the development of large renewable energy projects. Prior to this, Jens worked at GE Renewable Energy, taking on various roles including Contracts and Operations Director, Commercial Director, and Commercial Leader for Strategic Projects. Jens also served as the Commercial Leader for Germany and as the Director of Risk Management during their time at GE. Before their career in the renewable energy sector, Jens worked at GE Wind Energy GmbH as the Manager of the Corporate Health Team. Jens started their professional journey in the Bundeswehr, serving as an Officer in the German Federal Armed Forces where they held the rank of Major and served as a Military Police Officer.

Jens Hennig has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2007. In 2013, they completed the Renewable Energy Project Finance Program at Harvard Business School. Previously, between 1998 and 2001, they earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences from Bundeswehr University Munich.
