Teresa Taylor-Mathis has a rich and diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Teresa started their career in 1994 at Trammell Crow Company, where they worked in various accounting roles, including Accountant, Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, and Controller. From 2000 to 2002, they served as the Controller for Trammell Crow Company.

In 2002, Teresa joined Farm Credit Bank of Texas as a Manager and worked there until 2003. Teresa then moved on to become the Controller at Meyer Residential, LLC & Student Housing USA in 2003. In 2004, they briefly worked as a Controller at RLG Ventures.

From 2005 to 2009, Teresa took on the role of Controller/HR Manager at Burks Digital Reprographics, Ltd. After that, they owned their own accounting firm, Taylor-Mathis, CPA, from 2001 to the present. In this role, they were responsible for various financial activities for multiple real estate entities, individuals in commercial and residential real estate, personal finances, and farming/ranching operations.

In 2010, Teresa assumed the position of Vice President of Finance and Accounting at CWS Corporate Housing, where they currently work.

Throughout their work experience, Teresa has demonstrated expertise in financial management, accounting, payroll reporting, tax preparation, and system conversion.

Teresa Taylor-Mathis completed their high school education at Gatesville High School. Following that, they attended Texas Tech University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Accounting. Teresa also studied at the Rawls College of Business within Texas Tech University during the same time period, earning a BBA degree in Accounting.
