Brett Madsen has held a variety of roles in the automotive industry since 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they were an Accounts Payables & Receivables Specialist, Customer Service Supervisor, and Customer Service Representative for The Conrad Companies. In 2012, they became the Owner-Operator of BTM AutoSport, where they were responsible for self-promoted marketing, web design, graphic design, automotive maintenance, and modification. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Testing & Development Driver for Fully Torqued Racing, where they tested and provided feedback on performance products. In 2017, they became an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist for Cali Bamboo. In 2018, they began working as an Automotive Journalist for Power Automedia. In 2019, they founded Spec P71 Racing Series. In 2020, they took on a role as Social Media Management & Graphic Design for Vermin Supreme for President. Finally, in 2022, they became the Computer Lab Manager for CXC Simulations.

Brett Madsen graduated from Mission Hills High School in 2008. In April 2018, they obtained a Certified Level One HPDE Driving Instructor certification from the Motorsport Safety Foundation.
