Michael Fahrmair, Ph.D.

Michael Fahrmair, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various technology-focused roles. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at cxomni CXM cloud since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Baufi24 Baufinanzierung AG from October 2020 to August 2022, where they held the positions of Head of Platform & AI and Manager Innovation & AI. In these roles, they were responsible for defining technology roadmaps, scaling development teams, and leading the development and maintenance of technology stacks and integrations. From February 2016 to September 2020, Michael worked at Interhyp AG as Manager Innovation, focusing on driving innovation within the company. Before that, they worked at DoCoMo Euro-Labs from October 2006 to February 2016, where they held the roles of Manager and Senior Researcher. In these positions, they managed an R&D group, focused on technologies for mobile/cloud-based multimedia services, and collaborated with international vendors. Michael started their career at Technische Universität München as a Research Assistant from January 1999 to January 2005, and later worked as a Postdoc from February 2005 to September 2006.

Michael Fahrmair, Ph.D. completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich in the years 1993-1998. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same institution between 1999 and 2005.
