Yasser Elkahlout

Yasser ELKAHLOUT, PhD, currently serves as the Director and Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer at CY Vision, overseeing innovative head-up display projects for the automotive sector while leading opto-mechanical design and analysis efforts. Previously, Yasser worked as an Opto-mechanical Consultant at Baykar Technologies, providing expertise in thermal management and structural analysis for laser applications, and managed the R&D Project Management Office at the same company, coordinating multiple projects. Yasser's extensive experience includes serving as a Chief Senior Researcher at TÜBİTAK, focusing on fiber laser systems and battery testing projects, as well as academic roles at Istanbul Aydin University and various post-doctoral positions at Sabancı University and Bilkent University. Yasser holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Middle East Technical University and both an MS and PhD in Mechatronics from Sabancı University.
