Giordano Colò

Giordano Colò has a diverse work experience in the field of data, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Giordano currently holds the position of Head of Data & Artificial Intelligence at CY4GATE since January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Member of the Group "Matematica per l'Intelligenza Artificiale ed il Machine Learning" at Unione Matematica Italiana from September 2020.

From April 2022 to January 2023, Giordano worked as a Manager Cybersecurity at PwC Italy. Before that, they served as the Lead Cybersecurity Data Scientist at TIM from December 2020 to April 2022, managing a mixed Data Science/Cybersecurity team.

From December 2017 to December 2020, Giordano worked at UniCredit Services S.C.p.A., where they held the role of Lead Cybersecurity Data Scientist, managing a mixed Cyber Security team. Additionally, they worked as a Data Scientist at UniCredit Services S.C.p.A from April 2015 to December 2017, where they focused on machine learning and deep learning models, data analysis, monitoring, and data modeling.

Giordano's earlier experience includes a tutoring role at Università degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza' from June 2009 to June 2011.

Giordano Colò holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Giordano also has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the Università degli studi Roma TRE. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Additionally, Giordano holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Sapienza Università di Roma.

In terms of certifications, Giordano obtained the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in October 2020.
