Emil Stanev, PMP

Emil Stanev, PMP, has extensive work experience in project and program management. Emil is currently serving as a Senior IT Project Manager at cyan Security Group since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Program Project Manager at Kapsch Converged Services GmbH from 2020 until September 2022. Emil also held the position of Program Manager at Liberty Global from 2018 to September 2022.

Emil's earlier experiences include working as a Project Manager at UPC Austria from 2017 to 2019, where they managed projects. Emil also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Customer Project Manager from June 2013 to September 2017, with responsibilities such as creating and executing project work plans, project scheduling, and resource identification. Before that, they worked as a Project Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from March 2011 to June 2013.

Emil Stanev, PMP, has a Bachelor's degree in Geography Teacher Education from Sofia University "Sv. Kliment Ohridski". Emil also holds two Master's degrees from the same university, one in Regional Development and Management and another in GIS (Geographic information system).

In addition to their formal education, Stanev has obtained the PMP certification from PMI International in October 2015. Emil has also earned the ITIL v3 certification from Exin in January 2014.
