David Mulder

David Mulder is the current director at Cyanotech Corporation. David has also been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Reiter Affiliated Companies from December 2012 to September 2019. David has experience in leading global finance, IT, legal and tax/ownership structure strategy. Under their leadership, the company was able to take global return on net assets from declining low teens to consistently over 20%. David was also able to successfully restructure the debt and equity structures to maximize current tax laws and bring capital from Mexico into the struggling US business to significantly increase equity distributions. As a result of their hard work, David was able to generate a $90M distribution and recapitalization of other entities, a $20M release in net loss carryforwards, and avoid an extra $15M annually in GILTI foreign taxes.

David Mulder has a Masters of Business Administration from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in the field of finance and operations. David also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Grand Valley State University in the field of accounting and finance.
