Guy Thibault

Guy Thibault has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Guy has held various leadership positions, including President and Chair of the Conference of Defence Associations Institute, Chair of the NPP Audit Committee at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, and Board Member at Commissionaires Ottawa Security and Consulting Group. Guy has also served as the Director of Cyber Defence Corporation at CYDEF. In their earlier career, they had significant roles in the Canadian Armed Forces, including Vice Chief of the Defence Staff and Deputy Commander of the Canadian Army. Additionally, they held leadership positions in the Organización de los Estados Americanos.

Guy Thibault's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Physics from the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada, which they obtained from 1978 to 1983. In 1994 to 1995, they pursued a Command and Staff Course at the Canadian Forces College, focusing on Military Operational Art and Science/Studies. Additionally, in 2001, they completed the National Security Studies Program at the Canadian Forces College, specializing in Canadian National Defence and Security Strategy. Finally, in 2004 to 2005, they attended Dalhousie University, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration degree, with a field of study in Political Science and Government.
