Michael Connell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael started their career in 2011 as a Tenant Services Coordinator at EastBanc, where they managed the engineering group and coordinated daily operations. In 2012, they joined Jacobs Technology as a Business Analyst, working on the Process Modeling and Design Center contract with the Veteran Affairs. Michael served as a Session/Project Manager, leading sessions to address areas of need within the VA.
In 2013, Connell joined ActioNet, Inc. as a Business Process Analyst, working on the National Transit Database and serving as a developer for the Federal Transit Agency and Department of Transportation. Michael also worked on a contract with the Department of State as a Lead Business Analyst for the Bureau of Consular Affairs, translating changing business requirements into functional requirements for development.
From 2014 to 2015, Connell worked as a Business Systems Analyst at Spin Systems, managing the CarePoint Application Portal for the United States Air Force. Michael collaborated with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ascertain business requirements and conducted joint application design sessions.
In 2015, Connell joined INTEGRITYOne Partners as a Senior Consultant, working on a contract with the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Michael worked directly with the Product Owner and Stakeholders to gather business requirements and conducted design meetings with developers to process requirements.
Currently, Connell is employed at Cyber Defense Technologies, where they initially served as a Requirements Analyst, Scrum Master, and Project Manager for a contract with the Defense Intelligence Agency. Michael assisted in managing an Integrated Product Team and worked with the government customer to develop system requirements and acceptance criteria. Michael has since taken on roles of increasing responsibility, including Business Development Lead and currently Vice President of Business Development.
Michael Connell obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from St. John Fisher College, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, in November 2016, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance.
