Senior Network Security Researcher, SCADA Security at Cyberbit

Shlomi Reuveni has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network engineering. From 2018 onwards, they worked at Cyberbit as a Senior Network Security Researcher, specifically focusing on SCADA security. Shlomi'sresponsibilities included network traffic recording, analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, and writing snort signatures. Shlomi also gained a comprehensive understanding of OT and IT protocols and was responsible for implementing, managing, developing, and maintaining a network IDS based on Security Onion Operation with a Snort engine.

Prior to joining Cyberbit, Shlomi spent several years working for the Israel Defense Forces. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Cyber Team Leader, leading a team of eight Cyber Experts. Shlomi demonstrated technical leadership skills in this role. Before that, from 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Network Engineer, with a focus on IP backbone integration and tier 3 network management.

Shlomi Reuveni obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the Holon Institute of Technology between the years 2014 and 2017. Additionally, they earned several certifications including HDE - Hacking Defined Experts from See-Security: Cyber & Information Security College in October 2016, CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker from John Bryce in December 2014, JNCIA from Juniper Networks in January 2014, and CCNA from Cisco in September 2013.
