Alpa Sthankiya has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alpa started their career at Anixter as a PC LAN Engineer, providing technical support to internal users and field engineers. Alpa then moved on to Channel 5 as a Desktop Support Engineer, where they were responsible for supporting workstations and servers, managing helpdesk calls, and creating user accounts. Following this, they joined BDO UK LLP as a Senior Technology Analyst, working as part of a large IT consultancy team. Alpa then served as the EMEA Service Desk Manager at Mitsubishi Corporation, where they diagnosed, repaired, maintained, and upgraded IT hardware and peripherals, as well as supported Blackberry, iPhones, and iPads. Alpa later worked at The De Beers Group of Companies as a Service Desk Manager, handling IT issues and queries, maintaining an asset database, and providing user support and training. Prior to their current roles, Alpa worked as a Service Desk Lead at Anthem Properties Group Ltd., where they managed helpdesk requests, coordinated executive deliveries, and handled vendor management for locations outside Vancouver. Currently, Alpa holds positions as Manager of IT Operations at cyberCSI, Inc. and Team Lead of Application, Data, and End User Services at Roche.
From 1999 to 2003, Alpa Sthankiya attended Coventry University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Information Technology.
