Michael Osakwe

Michael Osakwe has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

Michael began their career as an Assistant Grant Writer for non-profit organizations, where they conducted research to improve outreach strategies and developed grant proposals.

Michael also worked as an Assistant Teacher for a summer tutorial program, where they developed lesson plans and taught grammar and mathematics to underserved youth.

Afterwards, Osakwe served as a Study Strategies Tutor and Peer Adviser at UC Berkeley, advising students on course planning and study habits, and creating presentations and written content for student support.

Michael then interned at Kaiser Permanente, first in the Regional Compliance Office where they developed implementation toolkits and later as the KPIT Business Analyst Chief of Staff Intern, assisting the Chief of Staff Office with research, report writing, and project updates.

Next, Osakwe worked as a Marketing and Communications Intern at The David Brower Center, where they gained experience in marketing and communications.

Michael then joined NextAdvisor, Inc. as a Writer and later as a Senior Writer, responsible for writing blog posts, managing social media engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.

At Nightfall AI, Osakwe held multiple roles including Content Marketing Manager, where they managed the editorial calendar, produced blog posts and sales collateral, and generated leads; Product Marketing Manager, overseeing product launches and updates; and Senior Content Manager, maintaining content inventory and managing SEO strategy.

Most recently, Osakwe served as a Senior Content Marketing Manager at Cyberhaven.

Michael Osakwe attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2009 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in Political Economy. Michael'sfield of study focused on Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. In September 2019, Michael obtained a Hubspot Content Marketing Certification from the HubSpot Academy.
