Ken Brooksbank

Ken Brooksbank is currently an Advanced Pilot at CYBERHAWK Innovations. Prior to that, they were a Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer at SRUC from August 2018 to January 2020. Some of their previous responsibilities included social media marketing, digital marketing, attending schools events and UCAS fairs, giving promotional and informational presentations, and co-ordinating marketing activities (digital, print, mailouts, ad buying, face-to-face recruitment). Ken was also in charge of the marketing for an entire campus of 1,000+ students.

Before SRUC, Ken was a Marketing Assistant at Backbone IT Group from June 2013 to July 2013. During their internship, they were responsible for copywriting, media creation and management, blog management, social media and market research. Ken also did an internship as a marketing assistant at Oxfam from June 2010 to August 2010.

In addition to their work in marketing, Ken is also a Co-Founder of Drone Wrangler UK from October 2015 to November 2016 and the Founder of ThermoDrone from September 2015 to September 2020.

Ken Brooksbank has a Master of Science in Environmental Entrepreneurship from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Chester. Ken also has certification from IAM RoadSmart in Advanced driving, ECTBI in CCNSG-PTS, The Carbon Trust in Carbon Auditor, and HALO Drones in GVC.
