Martin Brown serves as the Head of Information Security at BBC, a position held since March 2023. With extensive experience in the cybersecurity field, Martin has been the Director at PsybaSec Consulting Limited since October 2017, aiding companies in enhancing their cyber awareness and resilience. Martin's previous roles include Director of IT Security at Abcam between August 2020 and March 2023, Chief Security Services Strategist at vArmour, and various leadership positions at BT Global Services, such as Chief Security Futures Architect and Global Practice Head for Security Futures and Capabilities. Notably, Martin founded a high-speed Wireless Internet Service Provider to improve local Internet access. Education includes a Graduate Diploma in Music from Salford College of Technology (1984-1987).
