Gen Callanta

Gen Callanta has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. In 2013, they began working as a Line Installer at Totally Wired and a Microcomputer Specialist at Computers by the Sea. In 2015, they worked as a DevOps Tech and Systems Engineering Intern, Information Assurance at Raydon Corporation. From 2019 to present, they have been a Cyber Security Engineer and Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Cybernet Systems Corporation. Gen also spent time as a Student at Daytona State College.

Gen Callanta has a diverse educational background. From 2007 to 2009, they attended Daytona State College and earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Daytona State College again and earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Engineering Technology/Technician, as well as A.S. Certificates in Computer Specialist, Information Technology Technician, Microcomputer Repairer/Installer, Information Technology Analysis, and Information Technology Support Specialist, and an A.S. Certificate in Cable installer/ Line installer. Finally, from 2016 to 2019, Gen Callanta earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems Technology from Daytona State College. In addition, Gen Callanta has obtained several certifications from CompTIA and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC AB), including Security +, CompTIA A+ Hardware, CompTIA A+ Software, CompTIA Network +, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS, and CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS.
