Kavinesh Setharayvalu has a wealth of experience in the IT field. Kavinesh is currently working as a Customer Success Engineer at CyberOwl, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were an Offshore IT Engineer at EMAS Group from 2013-2022. In this role, they were responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and troubleshooting network including data, voice, security and wireless networks to meet business requirements. Kavinesh also managed Cisco router, switches, firewall, web optimizer, and wireless network. Additionally, they oversaw the Datacenter global operation to ensure the group business SLA met.

Before EMAS Group, Kavinesh was a Vessel IT Support Specialist at Wilhelmsen Group from 2009-2013. In this role, they managed networking, workstation, server, and software onboard approximately 180 vessels. Kavinesh was also responsible for implementing systems on vessels, maintaining up-to-date replication, running patches and scripts to remove duplicate records, creating Purchase Requisitions and Orders, and Goods received in SAP. Kavinesh also traveled internationally to vessels for technical troubleshooting.

Kavinesh's first role in the IT field was as an IT Executive at Wilhelmsen Ship Management from 2004-2009. In this role, they evaluated, reviewed, and provided recommendations on IT-related issues, prepared IT budgets, followed up on reported incidents and requested services, and investigated IT-related issues. Kavinesh also monitored replication files, prepared servers and PCs, was responsible for Verit4net system implementation, and managed IT related support globally.
