Head Of Channel Stores at Cyberport

Gerhard Poppenberger has extensive work experience in various roles within the retail industry. Gerhard served as the Head of Channel Stores at Cyberport GmbH from 2013 until the present. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic and operational management of stores in Germany and Austria. Gerhard also played a key role in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for the stores, as well as participating in negotiations with suppliers. Gerhard also served as the Regional Manager and was responsible for store assortment and pricing.

Prior to their role at Cyberport, Gerhard worked at NIEDERMEYER GmbH as the Head of Purchasing and Service from 2009 to 2013. Gerhard also held leadership positions at LIBRO HandelsgesmbH, including the Head of Purchasing, where they were responsible for the development of the company's overall purchasing strategy. Gerhard was also an Assistant to the CEO and the Sales and Logistics Board Member during their time at LIBRO. Gerhard held various positions in different areas such as management, logistics, and space management at LIBRO HandelsgesmbH and Eplus HandelsgesmbH earlier in their career.

Gerhard Poppenberger completed their Matura degree from the HTL für EDV & Organisation from 1987 to 1992. Following that, they pursued their higher education at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 1993 to 1999, where they earned a Magister degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre.
