Anthony Jones

Anthony Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Anthony began their career at Target, where they held the roles of Senior Salesfloor Team Lead and Senior Logistics Team Leader, managing large teams and overseeing operations to achieve sales goals and maintain inventory accuracy. Anthony then transitioned to IQ Solutions, where they worked as a Help Desk Specialist, diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues for over 300 users, and also as a System Administration & Cybersecurity Intern, assisting with information system transitions and conducting employee security training. Most recently, Anthony worked at Cybersafe Solutions, starting as a Cybersecurity Analyst - Tier II and progressing to become a Security Operations Center Team Leader, Manager, and currently, the Security Operations Center Director. In these roles, they managed day-to-day operations, handled incident management and containment, developed and trained a diverse cybersecurity team, created standard operating procedures and playbooks, and set department strategies and KPIs. Overall, Anthony has a strong background in security operations, team management, and cybersecurity.

Anthony Jones completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2007 to 2011, they attended American University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Anthony studied at Anne Arundel Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity.

In addition to their degrees, Anthony also holds various certifications. Anthony received the CompTIA Security+ certification in June 2018, followed by the CompTIA Network+ certification in August 2019. In June 2021, they obtained the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification and the CompTIA Security Analytics Professional – CSAP Stackable Certification. Recently, in May 2022, Anthony acquired the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification and the GIAC Security Operations Manager (GSOM) certification, awarded by Microsoft and GIAC Certifications respectively.
