Tris Mabbs

Tris Mabbs has extensive work experience, starting in 1990 as the Director of Firstgrade Computers Ltd. From 1994 to 1995, they worked as a Network Consultant for Kent County Council, before moving on to Madge Networks as a Unix and networking specialist consultant from 1995 to 1997.

Tris then joined Securicor Information Systems as a Unix Support Team Leader from 1998 to 1999. Tris subsequently worked at Cisco Systems as a Unix specialist consultant, serving as team leader EMEA for the deployment and support of "NetTools" network monitoring software from 1999 to 2001.

From 2002 to 2002, Tris worked as a Unix specialist consultant for Canterbury City Council, where they undertook a variety of Unix-related projects. Tris then became an ICT teacher at Herne Bay High School from 2005 to 2008.

Tris worked for HP(CDS) Ltd. as a deep technical support engineer from 2008 to 2011, providing technical support in a deep technical capacity. Tris also worked at CyberSafe as a Support & Development Engineer from 2011 onwards.

In addition to their various roles, Tris has also had contract positions. Tris worked as a consultant for Rephine Ltd. in 2003, where they designed firmware and wrote technical documentation.

Tris Mabbs completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics with computing from the University of Kent, between the years 1984 and 1987. Tris later pursued a PGCE (PostGraduate Certificate in Education) in ICT at Christchurch University College, Canterbury, for the year 2004 to 2005.
