Kambiz Ghazinour

Kambiz Ghazinour is an experienced academic and industry professional currently serving as Department Chair and Associate Professor at SUNY Canton since August 2019, while also fulfilling the role of Research Faculty at Purdue University. Kambiz has held significant leadership positions, including Chief Strategy Officer and formerly Chief Technology Officer at CyberSpara. As the Director of the Advanced Information Security and Privacy Lab since August 2015, Kambiz focuses on security and privacy research. Kambiz has previously contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor at Kent State University and a Professor at Algonquin College. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, an MSC in High Performance Scientific Computation from the University of New Brunswick, and a BA in French Language and Literature from the State University of New York College at Potsdam.
