Emmett "Corky" Kaericher has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Emmett "Corky" started their career as a Senior Web Developer at Ziff Davis Enterprise in 2008. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Application Developer/Architect at rVue. In 2012, they joined ITG Holdings, LLC as a Project Manager/Architect, where they were responsible for developing a proprietary auction system. Emmett "Corky" then moved to Prolexic Technologies as a Senior Software Developer, where they played a significant role in developing software programs and tools for preventing DDoS attacks. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Architect, Project Manager & Mentor for Socialtopias, LLC. In 2015, they became the Director of Technology at Socialtopias before transitioning to Visual Workforce as the Vice President of Technology in 2016. In the same year, they also started their own company, SeriousDigitalMedia, where they hold multiple leadership roles as a Founder, CEO, CTO, and President. Since 2016, they have been working as a Technical Consultant for Capital TechSearch, providing expertise in the technology field. Most recently, they joined CyberSWIFT in 2019 as the VP of Marketing & Sales - Western Hemisphere, focusing on GIS and Map-based application solutions.

Emmett "Corky" Kaericher's education history begins in 1986 when they attended the University of Virginia for one year. During this time, they focused on Business Communications. Emmett "Corky" then took a gap in their education before returning to school in 2008. In 2008, they attended World College, where they studied Computer Information Science.

In addition to their academic education, Corky also obtained several certifications. In 1998, they became a Brainbench Certified Perl Developer. In 2005, they obtained the Zend Certified PHP Engineer certification from Zend Technologies, the NASA Certified Linux Systems Security Administrator certification from Brainbench, and the NASA Certified Linux Systems Server Administrator certification, also from Brainbench.
