Rudrani Chakraborty

Rudrani Chakraborty has a diverse work experience in various roles within the geosciences field. Rudrani started their career at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd as an Industrial Trainee, where they focused on studying petroleum systems and general geology of the Damodar Basin. Rudrani then worked as an Industrial Trainee at Tata Steel, followed by a Summer Internship at Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

In 2017, Rudrani joined CSIR-CIMFR as a Project Assistant, where they gained experience in project management and implementation. Rudrani then moved on to L&T Technology Services Limited as a Geoscience Consultant, where they provided expertise in geoscience consulting.

Currently, Rudrani is working at CyberTech Systems and Software, Inc as an SME - Premium Support GIS Analyst, specializing in data management. Prior to this role, they were a GIS Analyst at the same company. Overall, Rudrani has a strong background in geoscience and GIS analysis, with a focus on data management and consulting.

Rudrani Chakraborty completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geology from The University of Burdwan, specializing in Geology/Earth Science, General. Rudrani then pursued a Master of Science in Technology (MSc Tech) in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad.

In addition to their formal education, Rudrani Chakraborty obtained various certifications. Rudrani completed the MOOC on Cartography from Esri in May 2020 and The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2020 from Udemy in the same month. Rudrani also obtained certifications in ARC GIS Maps for Office Basics, ARC GIS Pro Basics, Fundamentals of GIS, and Getting Information from Arc Map, all from Esri, in April 2020. Furthermore, they completed the International Well Control Forum-Level 1 Program and the Well Operation and Crew Resource Management program from the International Well Control Forum in April 2020.
