João Ricardo Gastl

João Ricardo Gastl has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. João Ricardo started their career at Renault do Brasil as a Project Engineer, where they worked on product development for automotive interior parts. João Ricardo then moved to KYB do Brasil as a Product Engineer, where they focused on developing shock absorbers for the automotive industry and managed international projects. Currently, they are working at CYBEX as the Deputy Head of Engineering, responsible for translating customers' demands into technical requirements, coordinating engineering teams globally, and ensuring competitiveness in terms of cost, time to market, and quality. In their previous role at CYBEX, they served as a Lead Engineer, managing the development of a Platinum line stroller and overseeing teams in Germany and China. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Engineer at CYBEX, specializing in the development of technical lifestyle products like strollers and buggies.

João Ricardo Gastl obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Materials Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa. João Ricardo completed this program from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2011, João pursued a Postgraduate in Product Development Management at the Federal University of Technology - Parana.

In addition to their formal education, João Ricardo Gastl obtained a certification in IBM Data Science Specialization from Coursera in July 2023.
