James Ashwin

James Ashwin has over fifteen years of work experience in the software engineering industry. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at Achilles Group Limited, where they used SQL Server, ASP, ASP.NET (C#), HTML, and CSS. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at SunGard (now FIS) as a Manager of Integration and Implementation Consultant, where they used Delphi, C#, and BizTalk to allow batch and real-time processing of XML/CSV files. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Gladstone Software as a Head of Development and Development Manager, where they used Microsoft Gold Partner technologies such as SQL Server, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Backbone, Marionette, and Bootstrap. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as the Head of Development at Gigaclear plc, where they were responsible for explosive growth as the company grew from 30 to over 230 people. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at VoCoVo as a Technical Manager, where they enabled retail clients to provide the very best in customer service and business efficiency. Finally, from 2021 to 2022, they worked at Linnworks as an Engineering Manager.

James Ashwin began their education in 1994 at King Alfred's. James then attended Swansea University from 2001 to 2004, graduating with a BSc in Computer Simulation in Materials. James continued their studies at Swansea University, graduating with an MSc in Computing and Software Technology in 2005. In 2018, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance, and in 2019 they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance.
