Andreas Windemuth

Andreas Windemuth is the current Chief Innovation Officer at Cyclica. Prior to this, they were the Director of Bioinformatics at Abcam from February 2015 to February 2016. Before that, they were the Chief Information Officer at Firefly BioWorks Inc. an Abcam company from February 2011 to February 2015. In this role, they were responsible for all things computational, including supporting microfluidic manufacturing with live video image analysis, hardware controllers, and process control. Andreas also developed the Discovery Engine, an AI based tool using natural language processing for literature analysis.

Previously, Windemuth was the Chief Technology Officer at Genomas Inc. from January 2005 to December 2011. In this role, they were responsible for the company's technology strategy and execution, as well as leading the R&D team.

Windemuth has a wealth of experience in both bioinformatics and technology, making him well-suited for their current role at Cyclica.
