Anouk Van Rooij

Anouk van Rooij, PhD, serves as the Head of Flight Physics at CycloTech GmbH since December 2017, overseeing planning, coordination, and recruitment for the Flight Physics department. Previously, Anouk held the position of Head of Aerodynamics and R&D Engineer Aerodynamics at the same company, focusing on aerodynamic design, CFD simulations, and team leadership. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate and PhD candidate at the German Aerospace Center, researching limit-cycle oscillations, as well as earlier positions involving numerical investigations during a master thesis and an internship at BMW Group. Academically, Anouk holds a PhD and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, complemented by an Honours Track in Fluid-Structure Interaction and a BSc in the same field.
